Mad Science Day in T/K

We made predictions about if our conversation hearts would sink or float when put into 3 different types of liquid, Water, Soda, Vinegar? The outcome was the hearts were able to float in the Soda and they decided to sink in the vinegar and the water. I asked them why they thought the soda allowed them to float. Here are some of the responses, "The bubbles in the soda where strong and helped lift the hearts to the top." "The bubbles on the sides picked up the hearts and moved them to the top." What a fun time being Scientists!!
